Here are a few pieces I created during an artist-in-residence in New Zealand. When I was looking at Maori art, I became interested in the idea of sculptural paintings that echoed both human and natural elements. In this case, coral and cave dwellings. I think these would be interesting to turn into sculptures in the future.
